“Pakistan’s exit from the World Cup has caused the most damage to our electronic media, which includes news channels and sports broadcasters (broadcast rights). Those who have broadcast rights to show the matches are expected to suffer a loss of 30% to 35%.
The ratings of the channels are also surprisingly low, because the Pakistan team is back home and the news channels and sports channels are blaming the players and the team to save themselves and the cricket board is a mute spectator.
While in the case of Haris Rauf, the message of Chairman PCB came immediately, but where there is a serious allegation like match fixing, the entire legal department is silent and incidentally, the CEO of PCB is a lawyer by profession. People are wondering that maybe it did not change the direction of the guns to save itself?”
